Lee Kang-in visits London and apologizes directly to captain Son Heung-min

Lee Kang-in, who clashed rudely with captain Son Heung-min during the Asian Cup, visited Son Heung-min in London, England, apologizing and asking for forgiveness.

Son Heung-min also posted a picture on his Instagram account, saying, "Lee Kang-in sincerely reflected on himself and made a sincere apology to all the players of the national team, including me."

 

"I don't think I did a good job either, but it's the captain's duty to do that for the team," he said of the situation at the time. "Even if I'm in the same situation again, I'll act for the team. But I'll try to be a little smarter and wiser from now on."
