South Korea fought well but drew against Uruguay (Qatar World Cup 2022)

The Korean team drew 0-0 with Uruguay, a strong South American team, in the Group H group stage held at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar on November 24.

 

Prior to the match, most of the sports statistics companies and betting companies in various countries expected Uruguay to win.

This is because Uruguay was expected to have the strongest midfield line among the 32 participating countries.

However, underdog Korea rather dominated the midfield and showed a better scene.

  

So Korea will be disappointed with the result of the game being a draw.

South Korean team captain Son Heung-min played with a mask because of a facial injury, and did his best.

 

South Korea will play Ghana, who lost 1-2 to Portugal at the venue on November 28, in the second group stage match.
